Water pennywort Hydrocotyle
Water Pennywort reminds me a lot of the Dollarweed that infiltrates my lawn. I see it in the shallow edges of watery places like our Florida canals and wetlands.
The common term Water Pennywort includes several species of Hydrocotyle. Until I observe some interesting critter using the plant for more than cover, it's enough for me to have a general term to lump them under:)
