Salvia, Sage, and other names...
Salvia is a good nectar flower. It comes in a variety of colors, sizes, and names. Until I sort out the proper name for each of them, they're all here on this page, or will be when I finish taking pictures of them...

polydamas swallowtail butterfly nectars on salvia
This red Salvia resembles our native Tropical Sage, but I don't really know if it is or not. The IBS Atlas of Florida Vascular Plants site has great plant information, and I've linked the above to their page on Tropical Sage.

sulphur butterfly nectars on salvia
I've seen my Sulphur Butterflies sip from all colors of my Salvia plants.
