Southern Ring Neck Snake Diadophis
punctatus punctatus
This adorable little creature is called a Ring Neck Snake, but it wound around my finger like it was trying to be a living ring.
Of all the squiggly critters I've played with, this tiny snake was the most fun. I found it in the ground while I was gardening. After I took some photos, I put it back.

Now that I have a better camera, I'll keep an eye out for another one. I've only found them twice, so I'm not too hopeful.
