American Alligator
This is the big gator at the Wakodahatchee Wetlands that lives near the first pavilion on the boardwalk. Sometimes it poses nicely on the island and displays its teeth to happy visitors and photographers.

Further down the path you might find baby gators too:

Gators can be lurking anywhere, and are often so still that you don't notice their eyeball peering at you. This alligator is mostly submerged in the shallows beneath the Pickerelweed:

I thought this turtle was going to become an alligator dinner, so I waited a while, but I guess the gator wasn't hungry because it didn't move for over an hour. I was hungry, so I gave up and went home to cook dinner for my hungry family.
