I ran out of space on my
first page
of Tricolored Heron pictures, so I'm continuing here and will add
more as I take more.
I can't wait for those eggs to hatch!
I think of all the birds I've seen at the wetlands, the Tricolored
Herons are the easiest to photograph. They play, pose, and get right in
front of me while they do it.
It's all about the light. These Tricolored Herons are varying shades of
slate blue, but they seem to change color before your eyes as the sun
peeks in and out of the clouds.
