I'm looking forward to replacing these distant photos with closer
clearer pictures, but this is my first glimpse of these Roseate
Spoonbills, and fuzzy or not, here I share.

This picture illustrates how the Spoonbill got its name; that beak sure
looks spoon shaped to me.
... and bye bye photo op. I hoped it would fly closer, but alas, it flew
away.
If you'd like to see these beautiful pink Spoonbills in person, I took
the pictures at the
Wakodahatchee Wetland 13 April 08. I hope you have better luck
getting near them than I did!
