After working hard to bring in fresh nesting material, these two Anhingas seem to be enjoying a sunset kiss.

This next Anhinga was sitting on a Cypress tree with a freshly plucked branch. I took a few pictures of it in the late evening shade, which weren't all that good, and then it flew. I thought all the flying pictures would be a loss because the shutter speed was so low, but I rather liked this one despite the blur.

I'd heard the "Big Fish" rumors, and was delighted when I (finally!) happened upon this Anhinga with one!
