This brown hairy oval eating the leaf is a Puss Caterpillar. IT STINGS - DO NOT TOUCH THEM!

I've been told how painful it is to brush bare skin against one of these puss caterpillars, so despite not having photos of this moth, I drew the line at bringing this one home to raise. Should I happen across another, perhaps I'll reconsider. I'd like to see the Megalopyge crispata moth it will become.
