Butterfly Garden Pest Control
I don't want to use bug spray in my yard because I garden for butterflies, but I don't want ants, roaches, or wasps lurking about. The wasps really irritate me because I see them constantly patrolling my host plants in search of caterpillars. Yesterday I saw one take out a Julia caterpillar, and I was fuming furious! After careful consideration, today I dragged the vacuum outside and experimented with sucking wasps out of the air - IT WORKS!

March 08: I learned that my white ball flower weed  that I've been trying to ID because my butterflies nectar on it is a nectar plant for a wasp that kills mole crickets.
