Hammock Skipper Butterfly
Hammock Skipper Butterfly under a Firebush leaf
I found a Hammock Skipper back in '07, and Tim Adams managed to ID it from the backlit picture below. I've seen one or two since, but they tend to depart well before I get close enough to get a picture no matter how carefully I sneak up on them. Finally, five years later, I got lucky with this butterfly under a Firebush leaf.

There was one other, in '08, that I saw sipping nectar from a yellow Lantana flower cluster, but the only camera I had on me was my phone, and mine wasn't quite up to the task then.
