Roseate Spoonbill
I'm looking forward to replacing these distant photos with closer clearer pictures, but this is my first glimpse of these Roseate Spoonbills, and fuzzy or not, here I share. (update - replaced them here)
Roseate Spoonbill
This picture illustrates how the Spoonbill got its name; that beak sure looks spoon shaped to me.

If you'd like to see these beautiful pink Spoonbills in person, I took the pictures at the Wakodahatchee Wetland in April 08. I hope you have better luck getting near them than I did!

Update: 2011 - now they're at Green Cay, and the new spoonbill pictures are here.
