I'm still learning our hawks. This hawk on the right snacks on the critters in my yard. The one on the left was at Green Cay being bothered by Purple Martins, and the one in the trees was at the Wakodahatchee Wetlands staying well out of camera range.

It was perched across the back field, and then flew toward the pavilion by the sidewalk:

Most of these pictures are pretty awful.  These hawks aren't the sort of bird to pose nicely at close range! Check out my newer hawk page. I got lucky enough to have a distracted hawk stick around for some pictures and I have a better lens now!
