This beautiful, absolutely huge Pileated Woodpecker has been in my yard several times over the years. In 2007 I managed to get the camera before it flew away, but I got horrible pictures like this one. I'll spare you the rest of them. I keep hoping that it will come back so I can take better pictures! Most of my other bird pages are in much better shape; have a look.
