| Nesting Owls |
It's October 2011 and this owl has been singing us to sleep for weeks.
She's also been busy building this nest.
Here she is perched on an antenna. It was late in the evening, so these
next action shots of her aren't as clear, but I was so happy to have my
camera while they prepared to nest that I have to share them:
Did I mention happy?
The morning all this took place, one of the owls brought a snack to my
yard. It was followed by a hungry hawk. Here's the owl:
