Note that the top Glossy Ibis looks much more colorful than this one does. I believe the more colorful bird is wearing its breeding plumage.

Glossy Ibis trying to eat a swamp frog
i suspect that ibis eat frogs, but even after sharing this picture of the Glossy Ibis with the swamp frog, I can't say so for sure. This ibis chomped on this frog for a LONG time before it finally gave up. Apparently the frog was too big for the ibis to swallow.

Ibis also come in white.
