Cattle Egrets are fairly small herons. Sometimes I see them flying alone, but in the evenings when they go home to their wetland to sleep they frequently fly in large flocks. It's hard to decide which bird to try to photograph.

I particularly like the way their little heads turn orange during their season. They get other orange patches too, but that orange hairdo is what gets my attention.
